There's a place in the hearth of Romagna country where is Villa Roncuzzi Relais.The Relais is in San Pancrazio, a small outlying district of the Municipality of Russi, in the Ravenna province, close to the hills and to the sea.

It's an ideal place to celebrate an event, a success, an amour, a secret joy or simply to enjoy a moment of the city in surrondings conducive to the delicate pleasures of country life, with the alluring luxury of a charming holiday.

Villa Roncuzzi Relais is an early 20th century country residence, recently renovated in absolute observance of its original design. Set in splendid grounds with age-old linden trees and box-trees, a swimming pool, and spacious internal courtyard graced by an art nouveau fountain and local plants and flowers.

Its location allows to reach Ravenna in a few minutes (about 10 Kilometers) and Forlì (about 18 Kilometers) and allows to reach the sea, hills and the highway very easily.

THE Relais offers elegant design and rooms to respect a very demanding tourists or business men that need a relaxing break at the end of a long day of work in according of the short distance from city surrounded.

The 22 rooms are furnished with elegance and have their original stone walls and arches and fine wooden beams. The attention to the details is complemented by the most comforts: private bathroom, with tub or spacious shower and courtesy set, room service, independent air conditioning, telephone, hair-dryer, Tv LCD, satellite tv and Sky, minibar, wireless system.

Every room is decorated with fine frescoes, sculptures, pottery and paintings by noted artists so that guests might experience unexpected emotional involvement.

Three kind of typologies: deluxe room, junior suite and suite, all with special details and different colour and style; each distinguished by a bird of prey painted on the wall: gyrfalcon, Virginia owl, rough-legged hawk, golden eagle, kite goshawk, sparrow-hawk, caracara etc...

RUSSI

Formed in the Middle Ages and in the sixteenth century as a result of the struggle between Ravenna and Faenza for the supremacy of the border, Russian is a bustling agricultural-industrial complex, known to archaeologists for the discovery of an important Roman villa nearby, dating from the Augustan age. Today, the ancient and mighty fortified structure remained the fortress, a circular building and a tower built in the former Hospital Maccabelli, there are also four corner towers. Significant still are the religious buildings, all dating from the eighteenth century: the mother church, the Church of the Carmine, the Church of Our Lady and the Oratory of St. Francis, which houses the tomb of Domenico Antonio Farini. Noteworthy are also religious buildings, all dating from the XVIII: the largest is that of the mother church. A Russians are the traditions and memories of the past by making use of local products and wine.

The third Sunday of September is a very important festival that draws all people of Romagna: the Fira de Sept Dulur, celebration of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, regulated by Innocent XI in 1688, which is also fair and festival village renowned for its specialties food: "Nice and cot" and "Nova Canena"

Very lively market is held on Tuesday and Friday mornings in Piazza Farini, an abundance of stalls selling agricultural products of the area. Interesting is also the Fish century. XIX, used today in the municipal market.

The municipal archive of Russians is full of maps and drawings that offer a rich documentation of the territory and the main buildings from the XVII - XVIII century.

Ravenna  is a city and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The city is inland, but is connected to the Adriatic Sea by a canal. Ravenna once served as the seat of the Western Roman Empire and later the Ostrogothic Kngdom. It is presently the capital of the province of Ravenna. At 652.89  km² (252.08 spmi), Ravenna is the second-largest commune in land aerea in Italy, although it is only a little more half the size of the largest, Rome.

The oringins of Ravenna are uncertain.

The first settlement is variously attributed to the Tyrrhenians, the Thessalians or the Umbrians. Ravenna consisted of houses built on piles on a series of small islands in a marshy loagoon - a situazion similar to Venice several centuries later. The Romans ignored it during their conquest of the Po River Delta, but later accepted it into the Roman Republic as a federated town in 89 BC. In 49 BC, it was the location where Julis Caesar gathered his forces before crossing the Rubicon. Later, after his battle against Mark Antony in 31 BC, Emperor Augustus Founfed the military harbor of Classe. This harbor, protected at first by its own walls, was an important stazione of the Roman imperial Fleet, Nowadays the city is landlocked, but Ravenna remained an important seaport on the Adriatic until the early Middle Ages.

This particular geographic area is very interesting for its closeness to the sea. It's an ideal place for a good stay in every season.
It's centrality allows to reach and visit in a few minutes towns as Ravenna. It's know for its monuments, mosaics acknowledge from Unesco as world's property (S. Apollinare in Classe, Basilica di San Apollinare Nuovo, Teodorico Building and Dante's tomb, where he lies in the neoclassic little temple of Camillo Morigia).

Faenza is very known for its ceramics shops and the international museum, unique in the world, where people can admire a lot of ceramics from Renaissance age to our days; but every town and little centre of Ravenna province is rich of its history and art of every style and historical period.
Bagnacavallo, Lugo, Bagnare di Romagna, Brisighella, Riolo Terme SPA, Cervia and Imola knowns for its autodrome (Imola Gran Prix).
Russi centre, where a tourist can visit the ancient roman Villa, considered the most important roman settlement of North of Italy.

Il Bottaccio is an elegant hotel and a superb restaurant created around a seventeenth century water-powered olive mill transformed into an oasis of refinement and serenity. This aristocratic rural retreat stands isolated in the hills of Montignoso, enjoying both the reflection of the Mediterranean Sea and the peace of Apuanian Alps. The village is overlooked by the impressive ruins of the Aghinolfi Castle, masters of this county in 1202.
The Hospitality provided by the Bottaccio to its gourmand travellers matches the quality of its cuisine. The freedom of the guests and the respect for their habits and privacy is paramount. ROYAL SUITE

This elegant suite is the favorite of many guests. They are still carefully preserved the ancient mills for the production of oil and the original wooden gears. From one of the original mill was converted into a bathtub floor of 2 meters in diameter. 

A fireplace in the '700 Florentine tiled floors and beamed ceilings are elements that create an inviting atmosphere. Chesterfield sofa and 

armchairs, the antique desk, a mirror of the Empire 

style and a superb 18 th century painting depicting Venus and Mars, and again, Versace lamps and sculptures and paintings by contemporary artists, realize a happy marriage between the unique modern pieces works and antiques.

The bathroom is lined  with ceramics from Vietri, has a full wall mirror and comes with a small loft with a private gym.

Il Bottaccio offers 3-day and 5-day courses to cooking enthusiasts of all levels throughout the year. Small classes, with a maximum of eight participants, ensure that you experience hands-on learning and high-quality instruction. 

And uniquely at Il Bottacio, you also have the opportunity to participate in a live, working kitchen, giving you behind-the-scenes insights into a top Italian restaurant. Each day at the cooking school focuses on a few different aspects of Italian cuisine, giving you the opportunity to learn everything from cooking essentials, such as tips on working with seafood, to the secrets for cooking Italian basics and the delicate cuisine of Il Bottaccio. 

Menus and lessons are tailored to seasonal specialties, ensuring only the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used, but the general class overview is outlined below. Daily classes last for approximately four hours, leaving the remainder of the day to explore the surrounding area through planned activities or on your own. Learn about and taste essential Italian ingredients, including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and cheese, with a special emphasis on seasonal specialities. 

DAY 1 - Italian Classics

We start the course by learning about and tasting a collection of essential Italian ingredients, including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and cheeses, with a special emphasis on seasonal items. After reviewing basic knife skills, we will discuss regional differences and specialties of Italy and prepare a selection of courses for lunch.

DAY 2- The Cuisine of Il Bottaccio

Today we’ll share the secrets of the light and modern cuisine of Il Bottaccio. Given its emphasis on seafood, we will talk about cleaning and preparing seafood. You will also discover hand- made pasta, just one of the ingredients that will be used as we prepare our sumptuous lunch.

DAY 3 - Desserts and Introduction to Wines

In the morning, you’ll discover classic and modern Italian desserts. Then, over a leisurely lunch prepared by our staff, we will talk about and taste a selection of Italian wines.

DAY 4 - Culinary Outing

We’ll head for the countryside today to visit a local winery, dining on a delectable lunch as we continue our discussion and tasting of Italian wines. The day will be rounded out with a trip to the market, an olive oil mill, or another culinary destination, depending on the season

DAY 5 - More Il Bottaccio Cuisine and “Being the Chef”

Today you’ll experience more wonderful specialties of Il Bottaccio. You’ll also have the opportunity to ‘be the chef’, as you use what you have learned during the week to create your own masterpiece

Relais San Pietro is located in the enchanting atmosphere of the Daunia Sub-Apennine landscapes. It is a new 4 star structure which is the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Located 2 km outside the town of Celenza Valfortore, Relais San Pietro blends green expanses with the pleasant silence of its valleys and hills.
The charming scenery of lake Occhito, one of the largest in Italy, enriches this part of the territory which already has a rich tradition and history.

HOTEL

Relais San Pietro is a modern and comfortable structure created to ensure its guests a relaxing stay, with all modern comforts and a taste of the delights that the good local cuisine manages to provide, all delightfully set in a quiet environment with an uncontaminated nature.
A charming view is reflected in a large swimming pool which adorns the outside of the relais, whereas the inside is equipped with a fitness room dedicated to guests who prefer a peaceful stay without forgetting physical activity.
