The Grand Hotel is in the heart of Verona, just a short walk far from the Arena, the celebrated Roman amphitheatre.
Built as an elegant town house by the aristocratic Austrian Reichenbach family, the architectural style is early 20's art nouveau. It was converted into a hotel in the middle of the last century but its original aesthetic appearance was left intact and can still be appreciated totday.
Thanks to the restorations of 1993, 1996, 2002 and 2011, it was improved a structure in line with all Safety Norms, without affecting the building's old charm embellished by an important art collection. Together with the paintings and sculptures by well known artists (like Ciardi, Cascella, Minguzzi, Manzù, Purificato, Murer, Arnoldi and more) in the hall, public rooms and gardens, you can admire precious period furniture and fittings while walking on the original floor in red Verona marble.

Excellence has been achieved with a suite of business tailored to the businessman. Equipped with personal fax, computer, wi-fi Internet access, printer and telephone. The suite has an elegant living room and a bedroom with materials and exclusive furniture. The bathroom with mosaics has a shower and whirlpool.

The exhibition presents the study of nature in painting from 17th to 20th century, until water lilies by Claude Monet. Visitors can admire the works of Lorrain, Poussin, Van Ruisdael, Van Goyen, Hobbem, Canaletto, Bellotto, Turner, Constable, Monet and many others.

The exhibition opens with jazz proposing a rich calendar of concerts, then it continues with the Shakespearean festival, evenings of drama and classical and contemporary dance.
